We’re off!
Tour has officially begun. We now have 3 shows under our belts and, musically, it feels better every night.
We began on January 7th in Cocoa beach at a very neat space called Brick & Mortar. Big thanks to Rich for putting that together, Skyler and company for letting us crash, Jessie-o-peia for learning us about space and Mark for listening to Devon’s and my drunken ramblings. That Guinness really did taste better than usual.
On Saturday, we played in DeLand at Cafe DaVinci. Great friends, great Widmer bourbon cask ale, and a great Italian sandwich at Bellini’s. Robby, the bartender, stumped us all with his brain-teaser coaster challenge. He even offered us free beer for life if we got it. I think I’m on his side, though, when he says it’s impossible:
PHROMATE
See if you can figure it out. Leave a comment if you do. And don’t look it up.
Finally, last night (Sunday) we played our hometown kickoff at Common Grounds. Devon took over as the grillmaster, cooking burgers and veggie burgers to order. We played on the floor with Spaghetti Westerns projected behind us. It was a fitting send off, for sure.
Check my tour page on the tab above because we’re probably hitting a city somewhere near you.
See you on the road!
